Terry Lashawn Johnson Literary Agency was built around a simple idea: representation should be about more than finding a home for one project. It should be about the writer behind the work.

I founded this agency to represent writers and creative talent with work worth championing and careers worth developing. I want to know what my clients are creating now, but I'm equally interested in what they could be creating five years from now.

That changes the way I approach representation.

I don't want to collect manuscripts.

I want to build careers.
